You will lead store operations, ensuring the team and management are aligned with company policies and standards. Responsibilities / Duties Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Set the example and ensure all policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time by you and your crew. Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, brand image, adherence to standards, attendance and punctuality. Deliver great customer service and build a positive store image. Qualifications General duties for all store team members: operate equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage/work area/walk-in cooler, prepare product, receive and process orders, take inventory and complete related paperwork, clean equipment and facility daily. Training: Orientation and on-the-job training provided. Communication Skills: ability to understand and convey written instructions; ability to communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or by phone. Essential Skills: ability to perform basic arithmetic; make correct monetary change; verbal/written/telephone communication; eye-hand coordination; ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen. Other: 18 or older; verbal and math skills required. Work Conditions & Physical Demands Exposure to varying weather, in-store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F or higher, heat from ovens up to 500°F or more, and food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped spaces (including walk-in cooler), sharp edges and moving parts. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, bending and reaching, with some tasks performed at standing height and some in a typical office setting. Delivery-specific duties include driving, delivering to customers, and handling delivery-related physical demands. Driving Specific Duties Deliver product by car to customers, and deliver promotional materials as needed. Requires valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Essential Skills for Delivery Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
