We aspire to become trusted advisors, informed teachers, and a concierge to guide and improve the experience of owning, managing, and growing a small business.We must be accessible, dynamic, and present in the lives of these customers.This role will lead a team of sellers within a specific geographic market and is responsible for achieving revenue and financial objectives for their markets. You will recruit, onboard, train new sellers, and support Relationship Managers.As a Local Market Leader (LML), you will report to the Regional Vice President of Regional Sales in Business Cards & Payments and will be responsible for building and leading locally based high-performing sellers to deliver against defined objectives including recruiting, onboarding, training, and day-to-day leadership of the team.ResponsibilitiesDeliver superior growth and profitability by meeting or exceeding targets in purchase volume, new account acquisition, account penetration, profit, cost, productivity, etc., across their region while providing an outstanding customer and associate experience.Provide sales leadership and direction, and program management within the team.Build a dynamic sales culture that complements the broader Field strategy and assist the team in achieving account acquisition and purchase volume goals.Participate in strategic/tactical planning with the National Sales extended leadership team to drive growth, market share, revenue, cross-sell, sales force growth and productivity, market penetration, customer retention, and profit goals.Ensure all customer and prospect interactions comply with Capital One legal, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.Champion partnerships with HQ-based support teams and local Retail/Small Business banking and Commercial bank relationships throughout the market.Select, orient, train, coach, develop, motivate, and conduct joint work with the team of Relationship Managers.Partner with other LMLs to ensure consistent execution of sales strategies.Champion voice of client and voice of associate feedback to support a culture of continuous improvement.Demonstrate a deep passion for coaching and developing front-line sales professionals and yourself.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:At least 5 years of outside business-to-business sales experienceAt least 3 years of sales management experience or at least 3 years of peer coaching experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management6+ years of outside customer sales experience5+ years in a sales leadership role5+ years of portfolio management experience3+ years of experience partnering with Small Businesses3+ years of financial industry experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficiency in OtherAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this pensation & BenefitsThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.Sales Territory: $155,000 - $155,000 for Sr Manager, Local MarketCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual annualized salary offered will be in the offer letter.
