We are looking for an Associate Director, A&R Operations who will develop and strategize recording plans, manage recording budgets, and communicate project updates with artist management and internal departments to ensure the successful and timely delivery of album releases.What you'll do:Liaison between A&R, artist/management and all involved in recording processManages the mixing and mastering processCoordinate sessions at recording studiosCoordinates recording session related travelNegotiates competitive rates with studios, engineers, mixing, masteringWorks with A&R Admin and Business Affairs on sample and side artist clearingKeeps possession and archives musicBuilds strong relationships with artist/management to ensure trust with musicProvides music to entire staff (promotions, marketing, licensing)Works with A&R Admin to make sure all invoices are paid in a timely mannerPrepares music for company presentationsCoordinates travel and schedulingRepresents the A&R staff in weekly meetingsWho you are:At least 3 years of prior A&R, Studio, or A&R Administration experience desiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to pick-up computer systems/programs quicklySolid understanding of accounting, budgets, and other financial concepts.
