If you're ready to make an impact in an industry that matters, we're looking for people like you.What you’ll doWe are seeking a Project Development Manager within Bitcoin Mining and Data Center Site Operations to support the Head of Operations at Giga Energy and help streamline operations across our Bitcoin mining infrastructure projects and global manufacturing facilities. This role is pivotal in supporting our growing portfolio of BTC mining and Data Center sites through operational analysis, on-site coordination, third-party management, and strategic project implementation. You’ll be tasked with improving performance, efficiency, and reliability across Giga’s energy and mining deployments. You will also drive process improvements to make our mining project operations repeatable and scalable.Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations—both the technical and logistical aspects—is a plus, but not required. We are more concerned with finding candidates who are extremely data-driven, strategic, organized and thrive in ambiguous environments.Where you’ll workIf based outside of our Houston, Long Beach or San Francisco hubs, this role will be based remotely from your home office. Occasional travel (approximately 4-8 days/month) to company onsites, Bitcoin mining locations, and manufacturing sites will be required.ResponsibilitiesLead data-driven analysis of special projects and operational initiatives. Provide strategic insights to enhance the operational effectiveness of the organizationSupport operations across Bitcoin mining sites, working closely with, and managing, internal and external stakeholders to ensure uptime and efficiencyAnalyze key performance metrics (e.g., uptime, power utilization efficiency, hashrate) to identify areas for improvementIdentify operational bottlenecks in mining site logistics or electrical infrastructure and propose solutionsDriving the development of checklists, processes, and procedures to scale site operationsWork closely with various internal teams, including product management and post sales operations to ensure alignment and successful implementation of special projectsPresent actionable recommendations to improve operational processes, backed by data and strategic insightsIdentify opportunities for automation or system enhancements to improve project execution and overall efficiencyCommunicate with Giga global offices and manufacturing sites to problem solve as neededRequirements2 - 4+ years of experience at a top tier management consulting firm, with a strong understanding of business operations and strategic analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly to senior leadershipStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teamsHigh level of initiative, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challengesDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComfort working in fast-paced, sometimes rugged environments—including remote mining locationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with advanced Excel skills is highly preferredBonus pointsExperience in energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectorsFamiliarity with Bitcoining mining operationsUnderstanding of the electrical infrastructure supporting high-density compute loadsBenefitsSubsidized health, dental, and vision insuranceEquity (options) in a rapidly growing startup401(k) with 4% employer matchUnlimited PTOParental leaveHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)Commuter benefitsMonthly team onsites where all offices come in–person to collaborateEqual Opportunity Employer StatementGiga Energy is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
