Responsibilities and DutiesYou are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time; expect the same from your crew.Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image, and adherence to standards.Provide great customer service, ensure attendance and punctuality, manage transportation to/from work, keep the store clean, support marketing, and drive profitability.Advancement opportunities from delivery driver to management and beyond, up to franchise ownership or corporate roles. QualificationsOperate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.Prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.Training: Orientation and on-the-job training munication: Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.Essential Skills: Arithmetic fluency; ability to make correct monetary change; verbal, writing, and telephone skills; motor coordination for precise movements; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work ConditionsExposure to varying weather, store temperatures from 36 to 90+ degrees, and occasional temperature changes.Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces up to 500+ degrees; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.Sensing: talking and hearing on telephone; near/mid-range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.Temperaments: ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make decisions.Physical Requirements: standing, walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds with occasional higher loads), carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, and other physical activities as described.Driving (Delivery-specific): valid driver's license with safe driving record; access to insured vehicle; navigational skills for delivering to addresses; ability to operate in multi-story structures and various delivery sites.
