Water/Wastewater Project ManagerDelon Hampton & Associates, Chartered (DHA) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to work on the Potomac Interceptor Sewer Pipeline Project.SALARY RANGE$65 to $90 per hourResponsibilitiesPrepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) preparation experience;Develop studies and support capital improvement project planning, including permitting processes;Oversee and manage designs prepared by others, as well as review design and construction submittals;Coordinate with various stakeholders and manage multiple project schedules and budgets.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field;Must have eight (8) to twenty-five (25) years of experience in engineering design and management;Professional Engineering (PE) license in Washington, DC, or the ability to obtain one within one year;Pipeline design experience including hydraulic profile and flow rate calculations;Pipeline upgrades project experience with trenchless technologies for pipeline upgrades, project permitting processes, and bypass systems;Familiarity with the client's design standards;Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office programs is required;Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment about 90% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required about 10% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
