Our goal is to be there for our customers, when and where they need us, to provide solutions in a timely, cost-efficient manner.Pay Range: $98,200 - $117,800 AnnuallyExciting benefits await at our company:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage with 100% Company Paid Premiums401K plan with 4% Employer MatchingFlexible Spending Accounts for added financial flexibilityGrocery Allowance to support your well-beingPet Insurance for your furry companionsJoin us and enjoy these fantastic perks!Job SummaryThe Customs Compliance Partner will oversee customs compliance responsibilities under the Supply Chain Group This position will provide a assist with leverage expertise in international trade regulations, particularly USMCA, anti-dumping, countervailing duties, and Customs and Border Protection compliance.Essential FunctionsEnsure that trade operations adhere to U.S. and international regulatory standardsSafeguard the company against risks while enhancing the efficiency of our global trade processesClarify trade practices and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations by setting standards and routines to drive compliance excellenceAccurately maintain all necessary records and documentation related to customs clearance, including but not limited to import/export records and duty/tax paymentsDevelop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade compliance activities, ensuring progress toward compliance goals, including audit outcomes and non-compliance preventionTariff classifications, duty rates, preference program qualifications, and other applicable customs compliance criteria with the customs broker.Audits customs entries for correctness and conformity with appropriate laws and regulationsProvide training and advice on the changes in customs requirements.Monitor changes in trade regulations (e.g., U.S. Customs Regulations, HTSUS, NAFTA) and advise key stakeholders on how these changes will affect global operationsAssist in maintaining and enhancing the global trade compliance program, ensuring it meets regulatory standards and fostering continuous improvement through audits and corrective actionsOther duties as assignedEssential Functions (Continued)Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field or equivalent level of experience7 years of experience in trade complianceDemonstrated experience in tariff classificationIntermediate or above skill with Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, PowerPointPreferred Education And Experience RequirementsCertification in trade compliance, e.g., Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or similarIn-depth knowledge of USMCA, anti-dumping, and CBP regulationsPrevious project management experienceExperience with Change ManagementLanguage RequirementNoneTravel RequirementsUP to 10%The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Hyundai Translead is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
