This position requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to create engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be a skilled facilitator, adept at using a variety of training methodologies to meet the diverse needs of our employees.This position assesses current processes and assists senior management to improve/organize operational procedures to ensure consistency within the bank. Works with management to identify key areas of improvement and ensure timely implementation. Simulates and tests new tools, methods, and systems to ensure that training products and services are of the highest quality. Assists in developing, administering, and organizing company training and development programs for new and existing employees. Evaluate and enhance existing training programs and make recommendations for improvement.Ensures compliance within all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The FollowingAssists senior management with assessing department processes, identify deficiencies and areas of improvement and provide training solutions for improvementsIdentifies, qualifies, selects, structures, and prioritizes process improvement training projects Researches and analyzes various system programs for feasibility and functionality within the bank processesGathers, researches, and analyzes procedural data and identify opportunities for improvements in processes related to bank objectivesFacilitates and troubleshoots issues that arise as a result of implemented training processes and proceduresWorks with senior management and provide advice on the potential impacts of a specific training project and how the project could potentially affect member services or staffing. Also, ensures a smooth roll-out of new implemented training systems or proceduresAssesses current processes, as needed, identify defects, and areas of improvement and makes appropriate recommendations for changes to training products, services, and procedures, as neededDeliver engaging and interactive training sessions on topics such as leadership development, compliance, customer service, sales, technical skills, and soft skillsUtilize a variety of learning methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approachesFoster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaborationFacilitate workshops, group discussions, role-plays, and simulationsDesign and develop high-impact training programs aligned with organizational goalsCollaborate with L&D and subject matter experts to ensure program relevance and effectivenessCustomize training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments and employee levelsEnsure training content is up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with industry regulationsConduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirementsCollaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize learning initiativesCollect and analyze feedback to continuously improve training programsStay current with industry trends and best practicesSupport employee development by providing guidance and resourcesMonitor participant progress and offer support as neededPartner with HR to identify high-potential employees for leadership development programsMaintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and performance metricsPrepare and present regular reports on training outcomes to managementAssist in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and other training platformsEnsure compliance-related training is conducted regularly and adheres to regulatory requirementsUpdate training materials to reflect new regulations and compliance standardsMinimum of 10 hours CRA volunteer hours per year. Volunteer hours are typically scheduled within business hours. This is compensable time and mileage is reimbursedOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation/Certification:Four-year degree or equivalent work experienceRequired KnowledgeMust be proficient in MS Office Suite, LMS, and virtual training platformsExperience RequiredFive plus years financial operations experienceThree plus years supervisory experience or facilitation experience in bankingFamiliar with a variety of banking concepts, practices, and proceduresSkills/Abilities:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to effectively deliver virtual classes leveraging the features and functionalities of Microsoft Teams and Webex ExperienceAbility to use articulate 360 to create electronic learnings and videosExcellent analytical, creative, and problem-solving skillsAble to motivate and train staffExcellent coaching and mentoring skillsAble to create spreadsheet, graphs, analyze and prepare summary of pertinent informationKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
