We are focused on making it easier and more fun for people to talk and hang out before, during, and after playing games.Discord's Talent team is seeking a proactive Technical Sourcer to lead our top-of-funnel recruitment efforts for technical positions. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates through strategic sourcing, applicant review, ATS sourcing, and referral management. Familiarity with recruiting and the ability to manage a high volume of candidates while seamlessly collaborating with Recruiters will make you successful in this role.This position is temporary and US-based only. We are seeking candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area.What you'll be doing:Own the entire top-of-funnel recruitment process for assigned technical rolesDevelop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidatesReview and screen incoming applications to identify qualified candidatesDrive employee referral initiatives to maximize internal network potentialPartner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profilesTrack, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics to optimize sourcing strategiesWhat you should have:3+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, preferably in a high-growth environmentDemonstrated success in building candidate pipelines for technical rolesStrong understanding of technical roles, skills, and qualificationsProficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter and Seekout)Experience with boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methodsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong project management capabilities with the ability to prioritize multiple requisitionsData-driven approach to sourcing with the ability to analyze and report on key metricsWould like to have:Experience sourcing for staff or leadership roles in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or other specialized technical rolesKnowledge of working with AI toolsKnowledge of programming languages, technical frameworks, and industry terminologyBuild and nurture talent communities to create sustainable pipelinesStay current on market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry best practicesThe US base salary range for this temporary full-time position is $132,000 to $148,500 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
