OverviewSteel Fabrication Company Looking For General ManagerWe are a holdings company that specializes in manufacturing of construction materials, steel fabrication, steel erection.Base pay range$110,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yrJob detailsWe are on the hunt for a dedicated, experienced, and dynamic General Manager to join our growing team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing large-scale construction projects, with a firm grip on all aspects of construction management, including project management, quality control, budgeting, strategic planning, leadership, team management, risk management, contract negotiation, cost control, blueprint reading, and decision making. This role demands a strong leader who can ensure the smooth operation of our construction projects, from conceptual stages through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of construction project management, from planning to implementation.Lead the planning and implementation of project goals, objectives, and procedures.Develop and manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within these budgets.Control project risks and handle any potential issues or setbacks.Ensure the highest quality of work is maintained in all construction projects.Lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a culture of teamwork and high performance.Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and meet project deadlines.Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.Make strategic decisions that will promote the company/'s growth and profitability.Forecast and plan for future construction projects and market trends.QualificationsBachelor/'s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.MUST HAVE C51 License or ability to obtain license within 3 monthsMUST HAVE minimum of 4+ years is Steel fabrication/Structural steel erectionProven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.Expert knowledge in building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.Excellent knowledge of construction project management software.Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Exceptional ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong strategic planning and forecasting abilities.Superior budgeting, cost control, and financial management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Why join us?Generous CompensationBonus PotentialFull benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental)401k MatchPTO/Sick PayLife InsuranceEqual OpportunityJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
