Business Development Director of Resource Solutions2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from UHY-USAs a Business Development Director of Resource Solutions, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the related services, Project Solutions, Direct Hire and Staffing.Essential functionsClient Acquisition:Develop and implement strategies to attract new clientsBuild and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking and outreachRelationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clientsAct as a liaison between clients and the firm, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing concernsCollaboration with Teams:Work closely with partners, senior management, and service teams to align business development efforts with the firm's overall goalsCross-selling Services:Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clientsCollaborate with service teams to maximize client engagement and satisfactionMarket Research and Analysis:Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trendsAnalyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to identify areas for growthProposal Support:Collaborate with partners and senior management to create compelling proposals for potential clientsCustomize proposals based on client needs and the firm's service offeringsNetworking and Business Events:Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functionsDevelop and maintain a professional network to generate business leadsSales Reporting and Analysis:Track and report on sales performance and business development activitiesAnalyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvementSupervisory responsibilitiesWill supervise subordinate team membersWork environmentThere is an expectation to spend time with the prospect and/or client in accordance with specified needsTime may be spent in both the Firm’s office environment and/or the prospect/client premises where conditions may varyThe volume and predictability of work may vary with prospect/client demands; may be subject to on-call requests with short notice and work hours exceeding 40 per weekMay involve prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of timeThe ability to transport necessary equipment between locations; this requires the ability to lift issued equipment such as laptops, backpacks, keyboards, note-taking materials, bending or standing as necessaryTravel may be frequent and unpredictable, depending upon prospect’s/client’s needsRequired education and experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business development, sales, or related role8+ years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of accounting and finance principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain client relationshipsProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsPreferred education and experienceProven experiences in business development, sales, or related role within the CPA or financial services industryOther dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
