JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. TRAINING Orientation and on-the-job training provided. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator may be used). Make correct monetary change. Verbal and written communication to take and process orders. Manual dexterity for rapid, precise movements and for entering orders on a computer. WORK CONDITIONS Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks. In-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees. Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees, and sharp edges or moving parts. SENSING Talking and hearing on the telephone. Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. TEMPERAMENTS Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS including, but not limited to: Standing for most tasks. Walking for short distances. Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table. Lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed; deliveries may require lifting cases of ingredients and supplies; cases may be up to 72" high when stacked. Carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing as needed for store operations. DRIVING SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Deliver product by car to the door of the customer. Deliver flyers and door hangers. REQUIRED Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings while carrying product. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during delivery. Delivering pizzas within the designated delivery area; several deliveries per shift. Walking between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations. Climbing flights of stairs as required during delivery.
