Position OverviewSeeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Product Management Commercial Technology to lead product development and commercialization of our products and solution offerings. This individual will play a critical role in building cohesive, market-ready products by driving cross-functional collaboration, accelerating time-to-market, and ensuring our solutions resonate within our markets. This role is central to shaping innovative, scalable business technology solutions that support independent oncology practices in delivering high-quality, value-based care.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product strategy, commercialization, and healthcare technology, with a deep understanding of the oncology care ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally to translate market needs into impactful products that drive adoption, revenue growth, and improved patient outcomes.This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of IT Management.ResponsibilitiesOwner of the product lifecycle managing the products from ideation to launch, with a focus on delivering commercial-ready solutionsDrive a cohesive product vision by ensuring product features and design elements work together to form a clear and compelling value propositionAccelerate time to market by focusing on product delivery of meaningful, testable iterations and identifying beta and pilot opportunities to gather early user feedbackMaintains and leverages relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure new product development is supported through the appropriate research and marketing efforts in order to bring products to marketExecutes plans for innovating and driving market penetration of the new products through coordination among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across all partiesUse qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize features that drive adoption and engagement. Leverage customer feedback, marketing insights, and competitor analysis to inform product directionDrive Product Lifecycle: Manage products from concept through launch, ensuring readiness for commercialization and scalability across diverse oncology practicesMarket Intelligence & Opportunity Identification: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiationCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, commercial, engineering, and design teams to deliver solutions that meet both user needs and business objectivesCustomer-Centric Development: Engage with oncology providers, administrators, and patients to gather insights and validate product conceptsGo-to-Market Enablement: Support launch planning, messaging, and sales enablement activities to ensure successful product adoption and market penetrationPerformance Measurement: Define KPIs and success metrics to evaluate product performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial impactQualificationsBachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred12+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on commercial product development in healthcare or life sciencesProven success in launching and scaling B2B healthcare products, preferably in oncology or specialty careStrong understanding of healthcare delivery models, reimbursement, and value-based care in oncologyExperience working with cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, and commercial stakeholders, in addition to collaborating directly with customersFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Ability to collaborate, influence and lead cross functionally, including peer leadershipExcellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with all levels of an organization, up to c-suiteAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentAbility to travel up to ~10%What is expected of you and others at this levelUtilizes broad and deep knowledge to develop innovative new business practices, policies and proceduresContributes to the development of department strategyWorks on or may lead highly complex projects of large scopeProjects are typically cross-functional and have significant and long-term impactProvides solutions which set precedentNegotiates complex or risky technical business issues on behalf of the companyIndependently defines projects, establishes budgets, identifies participants and mitigates riskConsults with management to determine project objectives with long-term implicationsActs as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesAnticipated salary range: $135,400 - $208,100Bonus eligible: YesBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsThe salary range listed is an estimate.
