Our client, INSPYR Solutions, is seeking a Solution Architect in Dallas, TX (Hybrid) - Relocation coverage available!Duration: Direct HireCompensation: $250k - $350kWork Requirements: Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. (No Sponsorship)Role Summary:As an HPC Solutions Architect, you will focus on the technical design, integration, and delivery of high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. You will engage directly with customers to capture requirements, analyze workloads, and design architectures that deliver measurable performance and scalability benefits.This is a customer-facing, technically focused role. You will contribute across the solution lifecycle from requirements discovery and technical assessments, through proof-of-concept and deployment, to integration and ongoing optimization.Working closely with the Manager of HPC Solutions Architecture, you will execute on architectural strategies while concentrating on hands-on solution design, workload optimization, and technical delivery. You will also collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that customer feedback informs platform improvements.Responsibilities:Work with customers to understand HPC workload requirements, technical objectives, and performance targets.Lead technical discovery sessions to assess application characteristics, bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.Design and document end-to-end HPC architectures, including compute (CPU/GPU), storage, networking, orchestration, and security.Recommend and justify hardware and software choices aligned with performance, scalability, and efficiency objectives.Support proof-of-concept and benchmarking initiatives, validating solution performance against customer goals.Use profiling tools and workload characterization methodologies to inform architecture and tuning decisions.Translate designs into detailed implementation plans, architecture blueprints, and integration guides.Provide technical guidance during deployment, ensuring solutions integrate seamlessly into customer environments.Conduct workload reviews and performance tuning to identify optimization opportunities for resilience and scalability.Build and maintain technical partnerships with vendors (e.g., GPU, networking, storage providers) to incorporate emerging technologies.Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication during implementation and optimization phases.Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to refine HPC offerings based on real-world adoption feedback.Stay up to date on HPC technology trends, including processors, accelerators, interconnects, and data center best practices.Represent the team in customer workshops, solution reviews, and technical presentations.Required Skills:Demonstrated experience in HPC solution architecture, systems integration, or distributed systems design.Strong expertise in the following:GPU and CPU compute architectures (CUDA, NVIDIA ecosystem, workload schedulers like Armada, Slurm, Kubernetes).High-performance networking (InfiniBand, RDMA, RoCE).Distributed/parallel storage systems (Lustre, GPFS, Ceph, VAST).Kubernetes and container orchestration for HPC workloads.Security integration (identity, encryption, compliance).Skilled in Linux tuning, system-level optimization, and performance profiling.Ability to translate customer requirements into detailed designs and integration plans.Strong customer-facing communication skills, with experience running workshops and technical reviews.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations.Proven success in customer-facing communication and engagement, with the ability to capture detailed technical requirements and translate them into tailored, scalable HPC system designs.Skilled at articulating complex solutions across AI/ML, scientific computing, simulation, and data-intensive workloads to both technical stakeholders and executive audiences.Preferred Experience:Experience delivering HPC or AI/ML workloads from design through deployment and optimization.Familiarity with containerized HPC environments (e.g., Singularity, Kubernetes).Exposure to automation practices for HPC integration and deployment.Experience in customer solution delivery, such as running proof-of-concepts, technical reviews, or workload migrations.Awareness of emerging HPC technologies, including next-generation GPUs, accelerators, and interconnects.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect, Cisco CCNP, Red Hat RHCE, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).INSPYR Solutions provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
