FAAS Technical Accounting Advisory Group - Senior Manager, Leasing and Tangible AssetsWe’re seeking a Senior Manager to join our Technical Accounting Advisory Group (TAAG) in our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in the growth of our FAAS team, working across all industries to develop your career by communicating creative, strategic goals both internally and externally.The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. You’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.ResponsibilitiesConsulting with clients on complex and technical accounting issuesCollaborating with partners and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectationsEnsuring our engagement teams thoroughly understand our clients’ unique needs, ambitions, and expectationsBuilding relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless, integrated serviceManaging performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processesRequirementsA bachelor’s degree, CPA certification, and at least 8 years of work experienceIncluding at least 2 years of experience in 3+ industries/sectors of varied technical accounting analysis primarily in the areas of lessee accounting under ASC 842, sale-leaseback and build-to-suit, and lease impairment analysisStrong technical writing and presentation skillsStrong project management of complex technical accounting including the ability to develop realistic time budget and deadline estimatesA thorough understanding of US GAAPWhat We OfferWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $146,700 to $335,100.We’re interested in versatile people with the ability to take on new responsibilities and listen to clients to get things done.
