Strives to support a faster, better, easier client and team experience by adhering to agency guidelines, workflows and best practices.Responsibilities:Serves as the primary group level contact for day-to-day requests, account oversight and escalation for critical client service issues; responding timely and accurately to ensure client satisfactionResponsible for coordinating the pre-renewal strategy and planning of assigned groups, including the scheduling of meetings, marketing, quoting, plan analysis and compilation of presentation materialsPresent renewals, recommend benefit plan options, and confirm client decisions for designated accountsStrategize with the account executive/broker to support all marketing, renewal and open enrollment related activitiesServes as knowledgeable resource for account management support team and clients in areas of eligibility, claims, COBRA, underwriting guidelines and employee benefits complianceEnsures all compliance documents and contracts are completed on time and kept updated per regulatory requirements including Section 125 plans, SPD, COBRA, FSA, HRA and form 5500 filingsDelegates tasks to support team members as appropriate, ensuring work is completed within stated timeframesMaintains excellent client, carrier and vendor relationshipsAcquire and maintain high level experience in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Ease, Employee Navigator, Suvaun and other agency supported technology toolsPursues professional development and continuing education by keeping current with technology tools, regulatory changes, product and service enhancements, and other industry trendsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including correct grammar, spelling and punctuation in correspondenceHigh degree of critical thinking; ability to problem solve when the answer is not readily apparentDemonstrated attention to detail; producing outcomes with minimal errorsUnderstanding of insurance concepts and applicable law as it related to employee benefitsAbility to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced environmentAbility to demonstrate advanced level proficiency with a variety of technology including MS OfficeWorks well with minimal supervision; able to function independently and as part of a teamEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, or equitable experience.Three+ years’ experience servicing employee benefit clients in the small and large group segmentMinimum one year experience presenting information in a group settingL&H license required.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
