Head of Partnerships, Insurance & Benefits About the Company Innovative provider of B2B payment solutions Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held, VC-backed Founded 2020 Employees 51-200 Funding $26-$50 million About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Partnerships for Insurance and Benefits in the US to lead the strategic expansion into this key vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting US-based insurance and benefits organizations that can leverage the company's B2B payment solutions. This includes a focus on P&C/Life/Health carriers, MGAs, TPAs, benefits administrators, and various other entities within the insurance and benefits ecosystem. The role demands a high level of expertise in the domain, with a specific emphasis on modernizing payments through virtual cards, embedded issuing, and controlled disbursements. The Head of Partnerships will work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions for use cases such as claims payouts, provider/vendor payments, and broker commissions, and will be instrumental in driving the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in B2B commercial roles within the fintech, payments, or insurtech sectors, with a proven track record in partner-sourced and partner-attached revenue. Deep domain fluency in US insurance and benefits workflows is essential, as is an expert understanding of payment rails and the ability to design and negotiate multi-rail partner offerings. The role also requires a strong background in ecosystem and integrations, partner program leadership, and compliance and deal orchestration. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships in the industry, hands-on experience with partner programs, and a strong ability to influence and communicate at an executive level.
