In this role, you’ll be a strategic business partner and a key member of the Executive Team, bringing technology vision to life across systems, analytics, automation, and infrastructure. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing IT team while creating scalable solutions that support both operational excellence and exceptional customer experience across all retail locations. Your work will span a wide array of initiatives, from optimizing network performance and implementing cybersecurity best practices to integrating customer-facing technologies and powering data-driven decisions through robust analytics dashboards. This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking meets daily execution. Success will require strong cross-functional communication, sound decision-making, and a future-focused mindset rooted in both customer needs and business priorities. Your Day-to-Day As IT Director, you’ll lead and mentor a skilled and tenured internal team, including 5+ direct reports, setting the tone for a responsive, professional, and forward-thinking department. You will develop and execute an IT roadmap that aligns with business strategy, ensuring that infrastructure, software, and systems are optimized for performance and scalability. A critical part of your role will be managing core systems, while also ensuring seamless functionality across hardware, networks, and voice communications. These systems include ERP/DMS platforms, CRM tools, and a wide array of customer-facing technologies. You’ll partner closely with executive leadership and departmental heads to drive process automation, software integrations, and system improvements that directly support business outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include managing vendors and service providers, overseeing cybersecurity and compliance (including FTC Safeguards and PII standards), and supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Collaboration with Marketing will be key as you help oversee a portfolio of branded websites, ensuring consistency, performance, and usability across platforms. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in data and analytics, delivering timely, actionable insights via Power BI dashboards and other tools that support smarter decision-making across the organization. Throughout, you’ll establish and monitor SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and use KPIs to measure IT’s impact.
