Please apply today for more information!ResponsibilitiesCAAs and CRNAs are highly skilled health professionals working under licensed anesthesiologists to implement anesthesia care plans. They work within the anesthesia care team environment as described by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). All Anesthetists possess a premedical background, a baccalaureate degree, and have completed a comprehensive didactic and clinical program at the graduate level. They are extensively trained in delivering and maintaining quality anesthesia care and advanced patient monitoring techniques. The goal of their education is to transform qualified students into competent healthcare practitioners practicing in the anesthesia care team.QualificationsCertified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA)Holds current active state licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant in Georgia and complies with all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements.Graduated with a Master’s degree in surable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the required limits.Demonstrates current competency in clinical responsibilities.Capable of performing clinically as an anesthetist regularly in the facility setting.Skilled in operating, using, and interpreting data from various equipment to provide anesthesia and perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with clinical staff and other disciplines.Knowledgeable about providing care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.Understands principles of growth and development across the lifespan and can assess data reflecting patient needs based on age and population specifics.Knowledgeable in infection prevention and control techniques.Capable of maintaining confidential records.Able to implement and follow facility policies and procedures.Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Georgia and complies with all applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements.Graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse surable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the required limits.Demonstrates current competency in clinical responsibilities.Capable of performing clinically as a nurse anesthetist regularly in the facility setting.Skilled in operating, using, and interpreting data from various equipment for anesthesia and perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.Knowledgeable about providing care suitable to the patient population(s) served.Understands principles of growth and development over the lifespan and can assess patient data accordingly.Knowledgeable in infection prevention and control techniques.Capable of maintaining confidential records.Able to implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures.Work Hours:VariesOn-Call Requirements:Yes #J-18808-Ljbffr
