Pediatric Oncology HospitalistLocation: Phoenix, AZShift: Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun, (Days Vary), Shifts Vary, 8am-5pmPhoenix Children’s is Arizona’s top-ranked children’s hospital and is considered a regional hub throughout the Southwest. Phoenix is consistently ranked among the best places to live in the United States, boasting 300+ sunny days per year as well as convenient access to ocean and mountain attractions.ResponsibilitiesPatient Care ServicesProvide patient care services for which he/she is clinically privileged, including but not limited to:Provide direct patient care services on an inpatient and outpatient basisProvide subspecialty consultations and follow-up.Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services/proceduresProvide these services for urgent/ emergent care as necessaryStrive to achieve the best patient and family centered careSupport Hospital’s patient satisfaction goals as well as division’s specific targetsSupport and adhere to divisional patient safety and quality of care standardsPractices Contemporary Evidence based medicine or latest experience based medicineDivisional ResponsibilitiesEstablish and demonstrate effort to achieve annual physician goals and objectives (e.g. individual, division, hospital)Support the medical education programs and activities of the Division, including but not limited to:Provide direct supervision of trainees and allied health care professionals for the delivery of inpatient and outpatient services when applicableConduct teaching rounds, lectures and conference for traineesParticipate in the teaching and supervision of trainees and allied health care professionals assigned to the divisionParticipate in the postgraduate continuing educational activities of the divisionSupport the research endeavors of the division including the research initiatives by other members of the divisionSupport programmatic growth of divisionSupport satellite efforts of division when appropriateAbout Us: Phoenix Children’sPhoenix Children’s is Arizona’s top-ranked children’s hospital and is considered a regional hub throughout the Southwest.
