OverviewWright Plastic Products has a fantastic opportunity for a General Manager - TNN role at our growing Madisonville, TN location. As part of the Executive Team reporting directly to the President of Wright Plastic Products you will be responsible for all operations at our location in Madisonville, TN.Summary of Position ResponsibilitiesDirects and manages all facility specific operations in accordance with company policy, procedure, plans, and strategy. Identifies opportunities for improvement in facility processes, performance and personnel and implements actions to benefit from the opportunity. Participates as an active and effective member of the executive management team for the company.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the facility’s activities in support of the business plan and targeted improvement projects.Participate in the development of the company’s plans, programs, and policies as an active member of the company Executive Management Team.Provide facility specific business planning information annually or as required. This includes sales forecasts, capital spending requirements, staffing levels, expected overhead spending, and expected material and labor variances.Establish a key facility management team with key performance indicators for each function.Participate as an active member of the company business development team. Periodically provide customer specific updates, plans, and programs to the team. Communicate all critical customer issues to Executive Management Team as they occur.Provide leadership and direction to all facility personnel to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.Plan capital expenditures to support improvement and growth. Providing planned timing, expected return, and financial impact of the requested expenditure to the executive management team for consensus.Lead the monthly operations review of the facility with the Executive Management Team. Provide analysis of the facility performance and communication actions and plans to resolve or improve.Essential QualificationsBusiness degree and/or 10 years of manufacturing management experience in plastic injection molding.Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional level.Leadership/management – demonstrates ability to lead and include staff in planning and executing decisions, continuous improvement efforts – getting results through others.Self-directed, articulate, decisive individual with excellent communication skills.Technical skills and experience in plastic injection molding processing, tooling, and machinery.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
