Join to apply for the Chief Financial Officer role at Citizens Bank - IndianaThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations, strategy, and risk management of the bank. This role ensures the institution's financial health, regulatory compliance, and long-term profitability while supporting strategic growth initiatives. Accountable for complying with all Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering regulations, bank policies and procedures.Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the bank's mission and growth objectivesAdvise the CEO and Board on financial planning, capital structure, and investment decisionsFinancial Operations & Reporting: Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standardsRegulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Responsible for knowing and complying with all Federal Regulations and bank policies/procedures including the Bank Secrecy Act and CIP.Lead internal controls, audits, and risk mitigation strategiesCapital Planning & Treasury: Manage liquidity, capital adequacy, and asset-liability strategiesOptimize funding sources and oversee treasury operationsStakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulators, investors, rating agencies, and financial institutionsPresent financial performance and strategic plans to the Board and shareholdersBuild and lead a high-performing accounting teamFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvementSkills And Abilities RequiredThe ability to speak, read and write professionally and to use and understand financial spreadsheets and common commercial ratios.The ability to proficiently operate a computer and use excel, word and other bank software.Experience with digital banking transformation and financial technologyFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, Dodd-Frank.Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including ExcelAttention to detail with strong problem solving/critical thinking skillsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business major (MBA or CPA preferred)Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in banking or financial services, Or 7 years' experience in financial management position.Minimum 5 years' experience managing personnel or leading an accounting team.Deep understanding of banking regulations, financial instruments, and capital marketsProven track record in strategic planning, financial modeling, and risk managementStrong leadership, communication, and shareholder management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
