We would love for you to become a member of our team!About the RoleAs a Physician, youll provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. Youll treat acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, minor infections, and injuries. Working independently, youll use your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while collaborating with advanced practice providers and escalating care when necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesExamine and treat patients across all age groupsTake comprehensive medical historiesOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and X-raysDiagnose conditions and prescribe medicationsTreat minor injuries including suturing, splinting, and castingRecord progress notes and manage follow-up careEducate and counsel patients on health and wellnessAdminister vaccinations and refer patients for specialized careSupervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely and act as a Collaborating Physician during credentialingWork scheduled shifts of 8 or 12 hoursPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation:Graduate of an accredited medical schoolExperience:25 years of post-residency clinical experienceMinimum 18 months in applicable practice settingAdult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferredLicensure/Certifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine (ABMS or AOA)Active state medical licenseSkills & Abilities:Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency MedicineProficiency in office procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)Strong communication, listening, and customer service skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsMultilingual communication skillsFamiliarity with telemedicine platformsBasic understanding of medical billing and codingNote: This job description is not inclusive of all duties.Connect with us:Have questions or need more information?
