Behavioral Health Therapist (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC)Schedule: Full-Time | MonFri, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM | No weekendsOverview:Join a collaborative behavioral health team providing therapeutic services for patients in a mental health and/or substance abuse treatment setting. This role focuses on psychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, counseling, documentation, and discharge coordination.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify treatment needsDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plansFacilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessionsParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and family/support meetingsCoordinate discharge planning using internal and external resourcesMaintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and clinical standardsAttend court hearings and report to state/community agencies when requiredParticipate in team meetings and contribute to patient case discussionsFloat to alternate units or locations based on census/staffing needsRequired Qualifications:Licensure: Active Illinois license (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC)Education: Masters degree in Social Work or related mental health fieldExperience: Minimum 1 year in a behavioral health setting (2+ years preferred)Certifications: CPR (AHA or Red Cross); CPI within 90 days of hireRequired Skills:Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skillsAbility to maintain therapeutic boundaries and manage crisis situationsProficiency in medical record documentation and case coordinationKnowledge of community resources, including residential and recovery programsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWhy Join Us?Stable weekday schedule no weekends or nightsSupportive, team-based environmentOpportunities for professional developmentMake a meaningful impact in patients recovery and mental health journey
