Position Summary:Penske Logistics is looking for a warehouse clerk associate to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.Friday to Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm$20.50 base rate + $1.00 shift differential = $21.50 p/hAdditional Benefits:Paid Time OffMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401KAssociate Referral ProgramMajor Responsibilities:Respond to inventory issues from operators on the floorEnsuring system count matches physical inventoryResolve discrepancies at location and pallet levelLook for missing product in storage locationsUpdate WMS to match physical through various methods/ Research and document root causeAccurately receive inventoryWork with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventoryAudit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentationsData setup and validationAccurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applicationsAudit existing data for inaccurate dataManage unsalable inventory to resolutionAccurately identify, log, and document potential damage.Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required.Ensure appropriate signage accurately located in distribution centerProcess analysis and documentationAssist with daily and weekly reportsAssist in development and implementation of special projects and tasksOther projects and tasks assigned by supervisionQualifications:• 2 years of general office experience required• 1 year of customer service experience required• High School diploma or equivalent required• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required• AS400 experience preferred• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-The associate will be required to: read; communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze certain information; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines.-While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit.The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.About Penske LogisticsPenske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies.
