About the Role The role involves scheduling, preparing, and conducting complex job analyses and validation studies for classifications utilized by DSH, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices. Responsibilities Schedules, prepares, and conducts complex job analyses/validation studies. Ensures compliance with the California Department of Human Resources and Federal Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures. Determines primary tasks and the knowledge, skills, abilities, personal characteristics (KSAPC), and behaviors of the position. Prepares job analysis reports identifying each step of the job analysis process. Submits reports to management and/or control agency for approval. Makes changes and updates applicable database as needed. Conducts analytical studies of each testing classification reflective of the qualifications required for successful job performance. Collaborates with subject-matter experts on the development and/or revision of examination materials. Qualifications Relevant educational background in human resources or a related field. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Preferred Skills Experience in job analysis and validation studies. Familiarity with examination development processes.
