Speech Language Pathologist (Hagerstown)

Job Summary: Meritus Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in both Home Health and Pediatric outpatient settings. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based speech therapy services across a broad patient populationranging from newborns to geriatrics. Youll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support patients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals. Schedule: Home Health : Monday Friday, 8:00AM 4:30PM Pediatrics : Flexible shifts between 7:00AM 6:00PM (MonThurs), 7:00AM 12:00PM (Fri) Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices Coordinate care with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members Supervise students, as appropriate, per departmental and national standards Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical standards of care Qualifications: Masters degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Maryland SLP license (or temporary license while awaiting board exam/reciprocity) Current BLS (CPR) certification Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills New grads welcomemust be able to perform job functions after a 3-month onboarding period Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $82,201.60 $123,302.40 Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (coverage begins the 1st of the month after hire) Company-paid Life Insurance and Disability Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program 401(k) with company match Tuition Reimbursement & Education Assistance FSA & HSA options Locations: Home Health: 1799 Howell Rd, Hagerstown, MD Pediatrics: 13620 Crayton Blvd, Hagerstown, MD About Meritus: At Meritus, we foster a supportive, collaborative culture where every interaction is an opportunity to care, connect, and grow.
