I have direct reports in the Mid-Atlantic and South Regions and support growing Facilities CM Services in the West and North.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic PlanningLead all Facilities Construction Management technical practices. Current portfolio includes Healthcare, Research, Higher Education, K-12, and Federal clients. Project delivery services include Owner’s Representative, General Contracting, Design-Build, At-Risk, Multi-Prime, Third-Party Special Inspection, as well as Forensic and QC Inspection.Provide guidance and support to all Facilities CM staff to ensure project success and client satisfaction.Collaborate with other regional practices to leverage shared expertise and implement best practices.Contribute to the development and execution of growth strategies and business plans.Partner with other Regional Practice Leaders to align on organizational goals and drive collective success.Foster a culture of performance excellence, collaboration, and accountability.Business Development & Client RelationshipsDrive business development efforts, expanding services beyond the current client base.Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify opportunities to introduce new services or expand into new markets.Share project and client leads with other regional practice leaders to grow cross-disciplinary opportunities.Represent KCI in professional organizations, industry events, and community outreach.Monitor market trends to inform annual business planning and long-term strategies.Recruitment, Retention & DevelopmentSupport recruiting efforts to attract top Facilities CM talent.Prepare and deliver annual performance appraisals for assigned staff.Ensure compliance with KCI policies and procedures.Recommend technical training as well as management and leadership development programs.Financial Management & ReportingCollaborate with leadership (Sector President, Region Executive, Service Line Leader, CFO) to develop the annual budget.Meet annual performance targets.Deliver projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.Negotiate scope, schedule, and fee estimates for large or significant projects.Operate within established corporate and project budget parameters.Manage and execute client contracts, change orders, client invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and profit and loss statements.Project Management & ExecutionEnsure effective utilization of personnel.Provide oversight and management of company vehicle leases, third-party testing equipment, PPE, special construction safety equipment (Fall Protection), Specialized Trainings and certifications.Provide technical oversight, development, mentoring and partnering, for both projects and staff.Serve as Project Manager for large or high-profile projects.Develop and implement project-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations.Maintain regular communication with clients to review progress and address concerns.Specialized ExperienceProfessional Engineer (PE), Design-Build Professional (DBIA), and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred but not required.Proven experience leading complex facilities construction projects.Strong business development, client relationship, and strategic planning skills.QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Required:Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 10 years of related professional experience, or 14 years of equivalentprofessional experience.Typically, 10+ years of progressive professional and increasing project management and organizational management experience in theAEC industryProven leadership skills with a track record of successful project management, business management, and team collaboration.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.Demonstrated ability to drive business development efforts and achieve growth targets.Willingness to travel as necessary to support regional initiativesEducation And/or Work Experience PreferredMaster’s/ MBA preferred.Certificates, Licenses, And/or Registration RequiredAbility to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Training within six months of start date.Certificates, Licenses, And/or Registration PreferredProfessional license or certification within the field of expertisePre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
