This is an office location which will have 3 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners. Wellstar Medical Group is a multi specialty group with 600 Physicians and the Gastroenterologists joining the group with have a very strong referral base. Components of the practice will include call, inpatient rounding, procedures as well as an outpatient clinic.ResponsibilitiesCore and Essential FunctionsClinical Practice of Gastroenterology includingThe care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.The documentation of clinical careThe documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functionsContinuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board CertificationRequired for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.QualificationsRequired Minimum EducationA MD, DO Degree Required andApplicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Required andApplicants must have completed the necessary Residency training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certification by their respective specialty Board.
