Physician - Department of Urology, Endourologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center are seeking an Endourologist to join the Department of Urology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.Position OverviewThe Ohio State University College of Medicine’s Department of Urology is seeking an exceptional and innovative urologist trained in Endourology Surgery. The faculty position is full-time on the tenure or clinical track, with rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is a respected clinician, educator, and researcher whose scholarly work has or will have impact for the field of Urology.Department/Division OverviewThe Department of Urology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report for delivering the highest quality of care for the treatment of urologic conditions. Our mission is to alleviate patient suffering from urologic disorders through an integrative model of extraordinary clinical care, patient-centered discovery and educational innovation in service of the citizens of Ohio and beyond.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe scope of duties includes diagnosis, consultation, and treatment of adult patients presenting with various disorders of the genitourinary system in office, ambulatory, and hospital settings, with particular focus on endourology. The successful candidate must have expertise in the management of minimally invasive surgical approaches to standard and complex stone disease.RequirementsMD, DO or equivalentResidency trained in Urology within an ACGME accredited programFellowship training in the area of endourologyBoard certified or board eligible by the American Board of UrologyLicensed or license eligible to practice medicine in the state of OhioStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, faculty members, and other stakeholdersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCommitment to maintaining high standards of resident education and fostering a positive learning environmentDemonstrated expertise and experience in urology, with a track record of publications and presentations in the fieldHow To ApplyTo be considered, please submit cover letter and Curriculum Vita.
