OverviewSaint Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology physician to join a community-based practice in a Medical Office Building adjacent to the hospital in Mishawaka, IN.The ideal candidate would be Board Certified in Gastroenterology, must be licensed or eligible to practice in Indiana, be a seasoned advanced GI proceduralist, and have an interest in program development. The selected provider will see patients in the outpatient clinic, perform procedures, and handle Hospital consults on a rotating call schedule.RVU-based compensation after a two-year guarantee. Emphasis is on providing excellent patient care and service while being productive. Administration supports GI department growth and vision. There is significant unmet demand for GI referrals from a large network of primary care and specialty physicians. SJMG is a well-established multi-specialty group with over 100 physicians and a strong primary care referral base. The GI group is a new practice and will be the sole employed GI specialty office within the group.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established health network, develop a rewarding practice, and benefit from a strong referral base and growth opportunities.ResponsibilitiesSee patients in the outpatient clinic and perform GI procedures.Handle hospital consults on a rotating call schedule.Participate in program development and contribute to the growth of the GI department.Collaborate with a large network of primary care and specialty physicians.QualificationsBoard Certified in Gastroenterology or Board Eligible.Must be licensed or eligible to practice in Indiana.Seasoned advanced GI proceduralist with interest in program pensation and BenefitsRVU-based compensation after a two-year petitive salary range in line with MGMA standards; based on production and quality metrics.Health/dental/vision/disability/life/retirement benefits.Malpractice paid by corporation, including tail.27 days off per year; 7 holidays, plus 5 CME days and $3,000 for CME.$3,000 per year for professional journals, dues, and memberships.Relocation assistance and student loan assistance available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
