Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Virginia State license to practice polysomnography preferred Certifications: BLS, RPSGT Must-Have: RPSGT certification BLS certification Virginia state license preferred Epic charting experience preferred Description: Polysomnographic sleep technicians are needed for an overnight ambulatory outpatient sleep clinic. Locals are allowed to apply for the same rate. The clinic will only see adult patients over 18 years old. Experience with Compumedics sleep software is required. Candidates must provide two references. All candidates will be subject to background checks. Applicants are expected to float within their scope as needed. A BSN is preferred for this position. Candidates will have modules to complete during orientation. Additional requirements include adherence to the natural nail policy. All applicants must comply with fingerprinting requirements as mandated. Results from background checks must be cleared prior to the start date. Please ensure to plan start dates accordingly.
