Principal Board Level Electrical EngineerJoin to apply for the Principal Board Level Electrical Engineer role at OracleJob DescriptionOracle's California based Hardware Development organization seeks to add a Principal Board Level Electrical Engineer to collaborate with our electrical, mechanical, SI, FPGA, and power teams in Santa Clara, California.This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest unreleased technology from Nvidia, AMD, Intel, and other industry leaders to develop servers, AI, and Security platforms for Oracle's cloud and database solutions. You will work within a specialized team focusing on architecture, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of high-end server and AI platforms based on merchant silicon.Responsibilities include:Parts selection and qualificationSchematic capture and board floor planningGuidance to CAD designers and review of CAD workLeading design reviews and collaborating with SI and PI engineersAuthoring hardware specifications and bill of materialsPrototyping, testing, and developing test plansMentoring junior engineers and leading HW debuggingLight FPGA workClose collaboration with system leads, architects, and cross-disciplinary teams is essential. Proven experience in delivering high-quality, high-speed cloud and enterprise products is required.Qualifications:Proficiency with CAD tools like Cadence, Allegro, and ConceptExperience with high-performance server processors, GPUs, FPGAs, and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, UPI, DDR5, NVLINK, etc.)Knowledge of high-speed design methodologies and PCB stack-up designExperience with FPGA design (Verilog preferred), recent CPU and GPU architectures a plusBSEE with 7+ years or MSEE with 5+ years of experienceExcellent communication and leadership skillsAdditional information: Salary range in the US from $97,500 to $199,500 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
