Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$146,200.00/yr - $162,200.00/yrPosition SummaryFlournoy Health Systems (FHS) is seeking a dynamic and strategic General Counsel to serve as the organization’s chief legal officer and a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role will provide enterprise-wide legal guidance and risk mitigation across a diverse portfolio of healthcare entities including home care, pediatric services, ABA therapy, hospice, and real estate. The ideal candidate is a hands-on legal strategist with cross-functional fluency in healthcare compliance, labor and employment law, contract negotiation, and governance.The General Counsel will serve as a partner to Compliance, HR, Finance, and dedicated outside counsel, creating a proactive, preventative, and policy-driven legal framework that strengthens internal governance, supports operational efficiency, and enhances regulatory preparedness. This role will also serve as the Legal Compliance Manager and serve on the Quality Assurance Committee to reinforce accountability and performance across the organization.Key Responsibilities Executive Leadership & Legal StrategyWith dedicated outside counsel, serve as the principal legal advisor to the CEO, executive leadership, and the Board.Participate in strategic decision-making and long-term planning, and oversee dedicated outside counsel’s execution of mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.Translate business objectives into actionable legal strategies.Align legal operations with business goals across all service lines.Corporate Governance & Board SupportServe as Corporate Secretary;
