Advisory Board Member

OverviewAdvisory Board Member – EdheadsEdheads is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that ties K-12 classroom curricula to real world challenges and careers by providing free or low-cost games to teachers, students and parents. We are looking for about 5-6 people to serve on our Advisory Board to help the Executive Board of Edheads meet our mission. No prior board participation is required. We are just getting started and have not yet finished setting up all the parameters of the position. We will elect a Director, Treasurer and Secretary of the Advisory Board, and set clear goals. We ask a minimum of one donation per year and attendance at at least 7 meetings per year. We ask approximately 2-4 hours of your time a month. APPLICANTS SHOULD LIVE IN CENTRAL OHIO, USA, and have a college education and/or at least 2 years in the workforce. Most meetings are virtual, but we will have several a year in-person to build a sense of team and to have some fun.ResponsibilitiesSupport Edheads’ mission by advising the Executive Board on strategy and governance.Attend at least 7 advisory board meetings per year (virtual and in-person as needed).Contribute approximately 2–4 hours per month to board activities.Participate in fundraising efforts, including a minimum of one donation per year.Assist in setting goals and electing board officers (Director, Treasurer, Secretary).QualificationsResidence in Central Ohio, USA.College education and/or at least 2 years of work terest in STEM education and youth development.Ability to commit time for monthly meetings and occasional events.Watch our video to learn more about What is Edheads? #J-18808-Ljbffr
