Job Summary Responsible for supporting ISC’s newly established Wholesale Broking Division by providing technical expertise and administrative services related to account placement and client service activities, with a focus on casualty and construction accounts. Position Responsibilities Communicate with retail agency personnel and underwriters to ensure accurate account information. Prepare and handle existing renewal accounts. Solicit new business from retail clients. Input and update current client information in required systems. Manage up to 40 accounts weekly, with premiums ranging from $2,500 to $100k. Prepare market submissions and quote cover letters to agents. Review policies and documents for accuracy. Assist with account transactions, processing, and document preparation (endorsements, change forms, invoices, etc.). Negotiate with carrier relationships, welcoming existing relationships. Resolve invoicing issues with Premium Accounting. Coordinate with Premium Accounting on notices of cancellation. Ensure claim notifications are sent to the claims department. Perform basic office duties: filing, copying, printing, maintaining files. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial insurance brokerage or underwriting, specifically casualty. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Experience in wholesale or retail agency/brokerage required. Ability to pass state exam and obtain insurance license (any state accepted). Understanding of insurance products and services. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Strong external and internal communication skills. Attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additional compensation details include a bonus, with a starting annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000, plus comprehensive benefits.
