The ideal candidate will possess strong in-house experience in corporate matters, legal department processes, invoicing management, document organization, and building scalable processes. You will execute and support a variety of corporate matters.The successful candidate will be ready to navigate a growth-oriented, rapidly changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment. This person will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks under tight deadlines and must be a strong writer and communicator at senior levels of the organization. A passion for personal accountability and setting high standards is essential for success.What You Will DoProvide strategic legal support to various departments, including sales, finance, people team, operations, engineering and other internal groups across the companyCollaborate and advise internal clients on commercial transactions, including corporate investment, joint development projects, licensing deals and associated agreementsEngage in contract drafting, review, and negotiations with vendors and critical suppliers, partners, and customers, including supporting international sales and territory-specific versions of sales and support contractsUse excellent business judgment to assess legal risk while also thinking strategically and providing practical, business-oriented advicePreferred SkillsSignificant in-house experience working for technology organizationsComplex commercial transaction structure and drafting experience, developing and customizing novel agreements without use of templatesExperience in corporate governance, compliance and associated filings and reportingQualificationsComfortable juggling multiple tasks under tight deadlinesStrong writing and communication skills, including with executive-level communicationsA passion for personal accountability and setting high standards is essential for success3-5 years of law practice, including at least 1 year of experience in-houseKnowledge of commercial laws and experience developing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and licensing contracts with multi-national companiesExceptional attention to detailBenefitsAttractive compensation.Supportive work environment where your ideas count, and you can thrive in a diverse culture.World of opportunities for your personal and professional development.MPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
