This is a remote opportunity.The VP, Commerce & Retail Media will join a dynamic, collaborative, growth-oriented capability team within dentsu Media's investment management and activation group, servicing Carat, dentsu X, and iProspect.Main responsibilitiesCAPABILITY / TEAM LEADERSHIPManage a large, distributed team of practitioners, promoting a culture of media excellence and collaboration that encourages learning and improvement.Oversee the implementation and execution of the best commerce and retail media planning and buying.Support business development efforts and contribute to new & organic growth.VISION & STRATEGYParticipate in the development and communication of dentsu Media's forward-looking vision for commerce and retail media.Define and deliver the holistic commerce & retail media strategy, inclusive of onsite and offsite media.Champion innovation efforts spanning the practice, from ideation through execution, bringing first-to-market solutions, tools, and processes to remain at the forefront of the retail industry.CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & INTEGRATIONNavigate a matrixed organization with several teams touching commerce and retail across the network.Build relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional capability leaders to identify partnership, integration, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.Collaborate with creative, analytics, and product teams to unlock and facilitate holistic commerce & retail solutions that address market & client needs.CLIENT STEWARDSHIPBe the primary contact for retail leaders within client organizations, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.Conduct regular client reviews and meetings to assess client satisfaction and address concerns. Provide exec-level guidance on integrated media planning efforts such as budget allocations, on-site and off-site buying strategies, closed loop analysis, and more.Required experience8 or more years of experience in digital marketing5+ years' experience in professional services3+ years' experience either working for a Retail Media Network or a Brand executing retail mediaProven track record of converting retail media into business resultsDemonstrable knowledge of the US retail environment, including the AdTech required to execute retail media advertisingDemonstrated success in building and managing complex business processes across multiple internal teamsAmazon Advertising experienceThe annual salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,650.
