Along with great pay, amazing benefits, and a stable work environment – Toyota Manufacturing has it all.To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.Who we/'re looking forToyota’s Production Control (PC) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Packaging Analyst.The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate, optimize, and manage packaging processes and materials to ensure cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.Reporting to the PC Admin Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control department/'s objective to be a Global Leader with Best People and Best Process.We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Packaging Analyst to support the design, development, testing, and optimization of packaging solutions across our product portfolio.This role will focus on ensuring packaging meets cost, performance, sustainability, and regulatory requirements while maintaining product integrity and enhancing customer experience.What you’ll be doingAnalyze and evaluate current packaging designs for cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and logistics) to develop innovative and efficient packaging solutions.Support packaging testing and validation for new or revised packaging designs.Conduct data analysis to identify packaging inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.Maintain and update packaging specifications and documentation in internal systems.Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source packaging materials and resolve quality or performance issues.Monitor compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and sustainability goals.Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for packaging optimization initiatives.Assist with packaging component lifecycle management, including change control and cost tracking.What you bring1–3 years of experience in packaging analysis, packaging engineering, supply chain, or a related termediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.Experience with problem solving cross functional facilitation and presentations up to Executive level.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Added bonus if you haveBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related pletion of TBP through report out.Familiarity with packaging test standards (ISTA, ASTM) is preferred.Experience with packaging design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Microsoft Auto Desk Inventor) is a plus.Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba).What we/'ll bringDuring your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
