The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and treating conditions of the foot, ankle, and related structures of the leg. This position offers an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a supportive and collegial environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for foot and ankle conditionsPrescribe medications, therapies, and orthotics as appropriatePerform minor in-office procedures and refer for surgery when necessaryCollaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists for integrated patient careEducate patients on preventive foot care, especially those with diabetes or vascular issuesMaintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory standardsQualifications:Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited schoolCompletion of an approved podiatric residency programBoard certification or eligibility by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine or American Board of Foot and Ankle SurgeryActive Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient careBenefits Include:Competitive salary and productivity-based incentivesMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and CME allowanceMalpractice insurance coverageRetirement plan optionsRelocation assistance (if applicable) #J-18808-Ljbffr
