Located in La Mesa, CA, this role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under supervision, operating imaging equipment, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Hours: Variable shift times, including weekends and on-call duties. The position follows an 8/40 hours schedule. Pay Range: $51.880 - $66.940 - $82.000 per hour. This position requires joining the SEIU-UHW union within 31 days of hire and maintaining membership for the duration of employment. It is open to internal and external candidates, with eligibility for a relocation allowance of $2,500. Responsibilities include: Performing routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT imaging. Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring radiation safety. Maintaining accurate documentation and quality control of equipment and procedures. Providing patient education and ensuring safety and comfort during procedures. Adhering to all regulatory and safety standards, including radiation safety and patient verification protocols. Assisting in staff training and professional development. Qualifications: Completion of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine technology program. California Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification. ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT.
