Head of Lettings and Property Management – Maldon CM9 An great opportunity has arisen for a Head of Lettings to join our client based in Maldon CM9. The successful candidate will be very personable and articulate, able to lead and motivate and manage the existing lettings department. Their lettings team is a bespoke team of 5 that work very well together, and the team are all very knowledgeable, capable and hardworking. Responsibilities Daily Banking, pay rents, reconcile Banking Tenant referencing Deposit handling Property visits to tenants Check outs, to go through reports, dispute resolution/negotiate with tenants and Landlord and put on TDS risk if necessary – allocate money accordingly Prepare Tenancy Agreements Renew rent insurance Dispute resolution Ability to lead a team and communicate in a subtle/encouraging but effective way and problem solve and be able to guide as required and listen to concerns and keep up to date with legislation making changes and improvements where necessary The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills Experience in all aspects of lettings Use of Rentman/lettings software packages Diligent and attention to detail Must be a good communicator and be able to work under pressure and to timescales, and also able to work as a team Understanding of the impending Rights Rents Bill and able to lead/assist the team through these changes Must be able to drive and have use of own car/clean driving license Must understand all knowledge of tenancy related legislation Must be able to maintain professionalism at all times The hours will be: Monday to Friday 08:45 to 5pm; Saturday 9am to 4pm (Working one Saturday in four with day off in lieu the week leading up to the Saturday) Salary range will be: £40,000pa basic + Car allowance/Mileage allowance + Parking season ticket provided an OTE of around £46,000pa If this role is of interest to you and you have the necessary role requirements, please submit your most up to date CV and contact details to Louise Foster at Roundpegs Property Recruitment today.
