This role will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, driving financial insights and decision-making across all business units. The Director will lead forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support strategic growth and operational excellence across Contour Airlines. We invite you to become part of the family.Summary of Essential DutiesLead the company’s annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processesDevelop and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and business casesAnalyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementPartner with business unit leaders to provide financial guidance, track KPIs, and evaluate operational performancePrepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reporting packages for the CFO, CEO, President, and Board of DirectorsEnhance and automate FP&A tools and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the organizationMonitor industry trends, economic indicators, and competitive benchmarks to inform financial planningSupport M&A activities, scenario modeling, and ad hoc strategic projects as neededLead and develop a small team of financial analystsOther duties as assigned by leadership.QualificationsBe at least 23 years of age.Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A and/or corporate finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Advanced financial modeling and analytical skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilities, with a strong executive presenceProven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams and driving financial performanceHigh attention to detail and intellectual curiosityMBA or relevant advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferredAirline industry experience preferredFamiliarity with Sage Intacct or other cloud-based ERP systems preferredExperience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferredMust have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and related software.Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check.Must understand, read, and write English.Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.Must have well-developed people skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.Maintain strong attention to detail.Be self-motivated and able to motivate othersExcellent interpersonal and conflict resolutions skills.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills: both written and verbally delivered with tact and professionalism.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.Disclaimer: The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature and level of work required for the referenced position; they are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals in the position.
