If you want to learn more about us visit us atAnd for a full listing of open job opportunities go toPosition:We are seeking a skilled MTS IV – Software Engineer (IaaS) to lead the design and development of critical platform services that power our infrastructure, including node boot and commissioning, OTA software delivery, secure OS lifecycle, and storage/networking integrations. As a technical lead, you will own engineering design decisions, author and review technical documentation, and drive engineering excellence across a distributed microservices ecosystem.Development & ArchitectureLead engineering design for microservices powering IaaS platform componentsAuthor and maintain high-quality technical design documents, solution overviews, and interface contractsDesign, develop, and maintain resilient microservices using Go or Python frameworksImplement and evolve RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging interfacesApply proven microservices patterns such as service discovery, circuit breaker, retry, and API gatewayEnsure code quality, modularity, and scalability through strong engineering practices and architectural guidanceDevOps & InfrastructureWork closely with DevOps team to review and guide CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with KubernetesDeploy and manage services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutionsEnsure system reliability, performance, and securityCollaboration & LeadershipWork closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineersMentor junior developers and conduct code reviewsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planningCollaborate with DevOps teams to optimize deployment and infrastructureCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQuality & TestingImplement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and contract testingPerform load testing and performance optimizationDebug and troubleshoot distributed systems issuesEnsure code quality through automated testing and code review processesThe salary range of $116,000 – $194,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
