OverviewZachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Backend Python Developer with aerospace experience to join a C2 mission software effort in Seattle, Washington. You will be responsible for developing ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services. Don't worry, you do not need to be an expert in satellites or understand space! Satellites are just flying servers you can connect to every 90 minutes but we connect to hundreds of them.You will develop Python microservices deployed either to the cloud or to on-premise environments with a focus on scalability, security, cost, and performance of the software. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including satellite operators and other software engineers, to understand requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot issues.
