Some supervisory experience is preferred but the company can develop as needed.Duties/ResponsibilitiesLead efforts and grow a team to current business needs and strategize for future growthManage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing the performance of electrical infrastructureOversee design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and power distribution networksLead and provide multidisciplinary support, project coordination, and general expertise regarding instrumentation, PLCs, and SCADAContribute to team leadership, documentation and reporting, safety and compliance, project management, electrical system management, budgeting and control, and automation and technical expertiseQualificationsMaster’s in Electrical Engineering preferred; Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field required10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or power management, with Instrumentation and Controls3+ years of supervisory experience leading teams of programmers and operators and managing large-scale electrical projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification a plusProficiency with Allen Bradley RSLogix-5000 is a plusKnowledge of Modbus, Profibus, etc.I&E certification or comparable experience a plusProficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP)Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE)Experience as a programmer in SCADA and DCS systemsExperience as a systems integrator using Ignition, Wonderware, Simatic, iFIX and/or IntellutionParticipation in PHAs, HAZOPs, and PSSRsStrong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systemsOther InformationGrowing organization with strong stabilityExciting business ventureGreat benefits including 401KAbility to travel to various field sitesFounded in 1998, Professional Alternatives is an award-winning recruiting and staffing agency.
