This Quantitative Fx Trader will report directly to a managing partner in Chicago. This trader must be able to demonstrate exemplary decision making skills in addition to superior risk management, theoretical pricing, and market structure knowledge. This trader will be involved in trading and research with a focus on the Fx spot market and related derivatives.ResponsibilitiesLead the expansion of Old Mission's Fx trading effortsWork closely with internal engineering and research teams to develop proprietary trading strategies, theoretical pricing models and risk management techniquesPartner with our operations team in developing and managing critical clearing, vendor, ATS, and client relationshipsDesign, implement, and monitor trading strategiesTrain and mentor a team of junior tradersRequired SkillsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, Finance, or Economics or in a related field.Qualified candidates will have a deep understanding across the Fx market from forecasting and trading, portfolio construction, optimization, and risk management.Ideal candidates will have some exposure to one of the following technologies: Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA;Excellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and excellent follow-through skillsCapable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while being instrumental in building a new businessSelf-starter with a strong desire to make processes more efficientBenefits And PerksFully paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life InsuranceFully stocked kitchen; free breakfast and lunch every day on-siteTuition Reimbursement Program401(k) with employer matchPaid Vacation, Sick, and Parental leavesCommuter and Flexible Spending ProgramsBase Salary Range$150,000 - $225,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education.
