smartdept. is searching for a Social Media Content and Channel Specialist for a healthcare technology client located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will come with 5 or more years of experience. This is a project-based, onsite, 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension.The Social Media Content and Channel Specialist will join a global brand and creative team, helping to shape and execute social media strategies and content that showcase the client’s unique value. This role focuses on building brand presence, community engagement, and delivering measurable business impact through social channels.What You’ll Do:Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and brand goalsCreate and manage editorial calendars, including campaign timelines and post schedules across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, X, and YouTubeUse analytics to assess content performance, audience behavior, and engagement trendsBuild and manage a global community management function, brand voice, and engagement modelMonitor posts from key opinion leaders and coordinate with regional marketing teams as neededWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred5 or more years of progressive experience in social media content creation for a brand or agency, ideally in a regulated industry (medical device experience preferred)Portfolio showcasing content strategy and execution3 or more years working with data and analytics, including strong skills in Excel and the ability to turn insights into action (experience with Google Analytics 4, Python, R, or Sprinklr is a plus)Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with design and SaaS tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, HootSuite, Sprinklr, or SproutExceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored for different platforms and audiencesExperience negotiating and creating process workflows in Jira and Agile or Scrum environmentsAbility to pivot between long-term projects and urgent needsEagerness to learn about complex medical systems and the needs of healthcare professionalsAbility to travel up to 15 percent #J-18808-Ljbffr
