Leaders are also expected to work in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to our mission, vision, core values quality, patient safety, employee engagement, innovation, and model for all other employees the highest standards of personal integrity, professionalism, and competence.OUR CORE VALUESI nclusionN urtureS erviceP urposefulI ntegrityR esilientE ngagedQualificationsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:KNOWLEDGE And SKILL REQUIREMENTSAbility to coordinate quality medical care in the outpatient settingFostering organizational/physician/patient cooperation towards improving delivery of careAbility and evidence of competence in general office procedures and organizational effectivenessAbility to adequately act as a liaison between the organization and the medical staff of the health centerEducation/Experience RequirementsMedical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy or Advanced Practice Provider as appropriate for roleMaster’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health Administration or related field preferredThree (3) years of clinical provider experience in a health care system with an excellent track recordTwo years of experience working in a management capacity in a health care institution or agency strong preference for community health center/FQHC backgroundProof of successful National Board completion or certificationMeets requirements of Medical Staff membershipCompletion of an accredited United States residency program in: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB/GYN as appropriate for the role. Advanced Practice Provider with training in family medicine.Current license in good standing (If not in AZ must obtain before start date)Valid unrestricted DEA certificateCertification to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (BLS) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locationsDemonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniquesAbility to meet and deal effectively with all levels of staff, patients, professionals, and community partnersCommunicate effectively and diplomatically with patients and personnel, both orally and in writingBasic computer efficiencyValid AZ driver’s licenseCommitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and valuesCompetency in dealing with people of various cultures and social statusPosition Reponsibilities/EssentialServe as primary liaison between Providers and all levels of employee within the organizationAssist with developing, coordinating, and enforcing clinical and operational policies and procedures. Educates clinical staff on rationale and need for adherence to policies and proceduresAssist in implementing the Patient Centered Medical Home model including improving clinical workflows and patient satisfactionTeach and support the care delivery integration model of careSupervise, monitor, audit and evaluate providersAssist with the recruitment of medical staff, including interviewing candidates.Participate in management of PTO, coverage and schedule changesAssist with the development and coordination of diagnosis-related practices and care guidelines.Manage all relevant standing ordersRoutinely meets with all providers one on one to review organization objectives, performance measures, professional growth and developmentWork cooperatively with the Health Center Practice Administrators and other departmental leadershipLead regular meetings of the medical staff at their health centerAssist in the maintenance of clinical coverage when neededProvides onboarding, orientation and mentoring to all new providersMeet regularly with the Chief Clinical Officer, and other leaders, to improve clinical care and processesFacilitate implementation of new projects and initiativesMonitor compliance with regulatory requirementsWork with the Chief Clinical Officer to provide/develop strategies to continually monitor provider performance expectations specific to access and productivity/revenue and to strategize corrective actions if expectations are not metPartner with other specialty medical directors to ensure consistency across service linesWork with the Chief Clinical Officer to develop/provide input on the budget process for all clinical departmentsProvide proactive guidance that focuses on encouraging all clinicians to implement best practices and model exemplary behaviorsWork with the People Services team and other team members to address any escalated patient concerns regarding clinical care or staff concernsCoordination and oversight of all medical care provided at each health center and for the quality of services renderedWork to strengthen provider engagement and satisfactionNonessential Skills And ExperienceBilingual (Spanish/English)Additional Duties And ResponsibilitiesOther duties as requested or assignedPatient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Care Delivery Integration (CDI)All employees are responsible for promoting and participating in interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to enhance the delivery of quality across the health care system.
