Come join our team as a clinical team leader at our state-of-the-art, skilled nursing facility. The Director of Nursing is a process-oriented person who works directly with the nursing team to implement systems and processes, ensuring the facility meets the medical, physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all patients.Must be available on a 24-hour basis as needed for guidance of resident and staff needs. Requires good human relations and communication skills. Needs to be assertive and motivated to be effective in management. Must have the ability to initiate specific nursing judgments in individual patient care treatments.Must ensure the nursing department meets the requirements set forth in Federal and State regulations. Requires the capability of participating in various roles including departmental, clinician, educator, personnel manager, and quality controller. Responsible for overall management of the facility when the administrator is not on the premises or unavailable. This position may be required to work at any of our locations.Salary range: $95,000 to $145,000 based on licensure and experience.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulationsParticipating in departmental and clinical rolesManaging the facility in absence of the administratorObjectiveTo provide excellence in patient care by establishing a professional philosophy of gerontological nursing. The nursing service maintains a qualified staff to meet the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all patients.
